Today, we meet Taehyung David Kim, head of the Korean unit of automotive benchmarking company A2MAC1.
Taehyung David Kim, arrived in France at the age of 10, began his career at A2MAC1, a French automotive benchmarking company. Founded in 1997 now with 450 staff members and with more than 380,000 users worldwide, A2MAC1 scans, dismantles and 3D renders more than 80 cars a year for automotive benchmarking.
His career started as a VIE (International Volunteer) Program in 2017, which helps young French Professionals like Taehyung to get experience up to 2 years in companies or administrations abroad. He is also the winner of the VIE Prize in 2017, the prize that is given to the best performing volunteers rewarded by the French Government.
A2MAC1 help clients such as Mercedes and Tesla analyze their competitors and make their cars better by providing solutions through an on-line platform that connects more than 380 thousand automobile users.
Following his success, he was seconded to South Korea as director of the local branch of the company.
